Larry Wood Comment on Structural Controls on Early Behavior of the 2018 Kilauea East Rift Zone Eruption Inferred from Geodetic Surveys

The article describes results of a 25-year study conducted by scientist at University of Hawaii at Hilo. The results of this study showed a dramatic subsidence centered near the southern edge of PGV’s production well area. While the location of the subsidence axis was clearly shown in the article’s map, they failed to mention it’s proximity to PGV’s production zone.
